About This Spot

Stepping into 361 Coffee & Espresso Bar feels like sinking into a quiet corner of Provincetown’s vibrant rhythm — a place where the pace slows just enough for meaningful moments to unfold. Nestled on Commercial Street, this cozy spot combines the intimate buzz of a neighborhood café with the warmth of a well-loved local haunt. The soft hues of seafoam-blue washed floors echo the coastal charm outside, while the comforting hum of espresso machines and casual chatter sets a welcoming tone.

Here, time seems to stretch around carefully crafted drinks and the gentle clink of glassware from the new bar addition. Whether curling up with a perfectly balanced iced coffee in hand or savoring an espresso martini that hints at playful depth with a splash of spicy rum, the experience is as much about connection as it is about flavor. The scent of fresh-baked pastries — cinnamon scones, buttery croissants, and moist banana bread — weaves through the air, enticing both early risers and evening lingerers alike.

What truly distinguishes 361 Coffee & Espresso Bar is the sense of familiarity it fosters. Behind the counter, you'll find the owner—a steady presence who has quietly created more than just a menu. This is a hub where locals and visitors alike share smiles, stories, and a softened sense of time. The carefully curated interior, small but rich with detail, invites you to watch the ebb and flow of Commercial Street life outside a large window or to engage in quiet conversation by the fireside on cooler days.

For those drawn by more than just caffeine, the space unfolds into an experience of community and discovery. It’s a place to begin the day with a toast of prosecco or to wind down with a salted caramel espresso martini, each sip as evocative as the town itself. The true charm of 361 lies in these subtle, human moments — the kind you stumble into when the coast is calling but the city’s pulse still hums softly nearby.

Enjoyed the Cape Cod color palette of the interior w/the seafoam-blue-washed floors, though cramped inside. Iced latte w/oat milk was good

The owner and wonder is amazing and he’s been present the past few times we’ve been here over the last few years. I highly recommend the classic espresso martini for a late night pick me up, or the salted caramel espresso martini for a sweet treat. The espresso is from fresh espresso and year after year they have been so kind and welcoming. This year a fireplace was offered in the font which was amazing!

The best coffee shop in town. Richard (the owner and most special gem of a human) has curated a menu and ambience that anyone who is remotely obsessed with coffee will appreciate, especially amongst the magical backdrop of p town. You will always find a familiar face, meet a new friend; and it’s the best place to people watch on commercial - hands down! The perfect place to start and end the day.

We stopped in for delicious espresso martinis and left with great tips from Richard on other places to visit in P-town. Ended up returning every morning for coffee. And the ham & cheese croissant was out-of-this-world.

Great coffee, space and location. The service staff behind the bar is wonderful, which is why I’m still giving 5 stars. The only thing noted was the aloofness by either the owner, manager or handyman (he had keys dangling). There was a line of customers waiting for orders to be taken, he walks in, cuts the line, and requests a coffee from the staff - interrupting the staff with customers. He then hands the staff a tray of dirty cups to the staff in front on the customers waiting to place orders. Customers first! Get your coffee yourself or wait for the paying customers to be served. Never pass dirty dishes before a guest. Little things that can make the entire experience amazing.

Really enjoyed my visit to 361 Coffee & Espresso Bar. The espresso had great depth and flavor, and the space had a warm, relaxed vibe. Staff were welcoming and made the experience feel personal. Definitely a spot worth revisiting

Truly amazing. Loved starting my day here with a coffee and stopping by for an espresso martini at night. Some of the best espresso martinis I had in Provincetown and all of the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back.

We visited on a Monday in mid-June 2025 around lunch time. The place was packed but only 1 person in line in front of us. I'm guessing everyone orders a drink and just hangs out. There were people hanging out inside and outside and it had a great atmosphere. We ordered: - Iced Caramel latte (Wife said it was very rich and delicious) - P-town signature blend whole bean pride coffee (it was the rainbow bag that got us but it's actually really good) Service was great and fast. No reason we wouldn't come back here or recommend it to others.
